Laura Alderman visited the Center for Children and Families to conduct a staff training on ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). The 17 attendees learned about the ten ACEs that affect childhood trauma, the lasting health effects that correlate with a person having five or more ACEs, and how to introduce TBRI methods when engaging with students who deal with toxic stress.
